Daniel Sobel practices Family Law because that is the field in which he feels he can do the most good for his clients.

People who need a family lawyer are often at pivotal moments in their lives, and sometimes in the lives of their children as well. A family lawyer has a responsibility to provide excellent guidance, level-headed counsel, and diligent and compassionate representation, and this is a responsibility Daniel embraces.

Daniel Sobel graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona Rodgers College of Law, where his studies included Family Law, Mediation, and Trial Advocacy. Daniel also studied for one year as a Dean’s Scholar at NYU School of Law, commonly recognized as one of the top five law schools in the nation.

Lawyers are required to fulfill continuing legal education requirements, and Daniel has chosen trainings on Collaborative Law, Facilitative Mediation, Guardian Ad Litem practices, and Domestic Partnerships in keeping with his focus on family law.

Daniel is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, and the Family Law section of the WSBA. Daniel is also a member of Whatcom Collaborative Professionals.

When not working, Daniel enjoys hiking, playing and writing music, and participating on the board of a local nonprofit recording label. Daniel is also a member of Sustainable Connections.

Please see the section on What To Expect for more information regarding what you would be able to expect as a client of Daniel’s.
